What does this course involve?
This unit covers the entering and working in confined spaces in resources and infrastructure industries. It includes planning and preparing for entry of confined spaces, and working in confined spaces, exiting confined spaces and cleaning up. This course is intended to provide building, construction, mining and maintenance workers with the necessary knowledge and skills to understand the legislative requirements associated with providing a safe work environment when entering and working in a confined space. It will also allow industry workers to further develop important work skills in the area of confined space safety. -
